Virginia Hart “Ginny” Yeager, age 69, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born June 30, 1949 in Gassaway, W.V. to R. Glennard Hart and Beatrice Dona Hamric. She graduated from Gassaway High School, studied Health & P.E. and Library Science at Glenville State College, received her MLIS at University of South Carolina. She taught at West Jacksonville 6th Grade Center, Riverside Elementary, Orange Park Library and retired from Robert F. Kidd Library, Glenville State College. She enjoyed several hobbies, especially working puzzles and sewing but most of all she loved traveling with her children and grandchildren and attending all their activities anytime she was in Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles “Scotty” Yeager; two daughters, Christina Wachs (Alan) and Diana Yeager; three grandchildren, Samantha Nelson, Dylan Nelson and Parker Bell, one step granddaughter, Rachael Wachs; her sisters, Dottie Pisapia and Phyllis Grove (Snooks); two nephews, Gianni Lapis and Sean Luzader; niece, Meredith Gillett (Charlton); great niece and nephews, Gabriella Gillett, Zachary Gillett, Benjamin Gillett, David “brother” Hart (Carole), and her beloved “boys” Boots and Lefty.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway, W.V. 26624 with funeral service following at 1 p.m.. Interment will be in the David Hamric Memorial Cemetery.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home. You are forever in our hearts.
