I was sad to see that Aunt Ruth passed on. I had spoken with her maybe 6 months before and we were planning a visit to see her but there was an illness in our family and we had to cancel the trip. She so wanted to meet my daughter Madeline (who's birthday is September 21st). We loved Aunt Ruth very much and she was always so kind to us and a very loving person. I'm sure you all will be missing her so much. I just happened to come across her obituary so I am sorry to send such late condolences. (My grandfather was her brother Evan.) Much love to your whole family.

Dear All, I was so sorry to hear of Ruth's death. I was looking forward to asking her many questions about the Brady family. My name is Marie Davis and I Iive in Florida. I was her cousin. My grandmother, Effie Gay Moore (nee Brady) was Uncle Richard's sister. I used to visit Ruth and Mary Grey with my grandmother then later when I was an adult with my Mother, Melba. We attended several family reunions with my Aunt Eula, Uncle Byron and Aunt Gladys. I give Evin or Evan used to organize them. Recently I was in W.Va. and went to Gassaway to look for Ruth. I did not remember that her last name was Six. I'm so sorry I didn't get to see her. I remembered her as being a lovely woman and a beautiful neat home. Grandma told me I had to sit on the front porch so I peered in the screened door. I read her obituary. It appeared that Ruth lived a life worth living and you were surely proud to call her Mom, Grandma, or friend. It is my loss for not knowing her. Sincerely, Marie Davis

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Ruth. May the following words help to comfort your broken heart. Hosea 13:14 "From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; From death I will recover them." Yes this promises gives us a reassuring hope that we will see our dear loved ones again. Not only does God promise to resurrect them but we see from that verse that he is eager to do so. I hope this can bring you much comfort during this difficult time.
