Mable M. Otto, 90, of Charleston, WV went home to be with the Lord on July 2, 2018 after a long illness. She was born on January 1, 1928 in Strange Creek, WV. She was married to the love of her life, William (Bill) Otto. Mable worked in retail and worked for Steiger’s Fur Shop on Quarrier Street until her retirement. Mable was a born again Christian and loved the Lord. She was a long time member of Faith Fellowship in Sissonville, WV, where John Rutherford is the Pastor and Dean Henson is the Assistant Pastor. She witnessed to and prayed for everyone she came in contact with about the goodness of Jesus. She loved her family and would do anything to help someone. In her last days, she was still witnessing and praying for people. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Mom, you fought a good fight. Great will be your reward in heaven. You are forever in our hearts. Rest now; we will all be together again.

Preceding her in death is her husband, William “Bill” Otto and her father, Eli Kester Sears; mother, Ada Edith Sears; brother, Kenton Sears; son, Larry Walters

Mable is survived by brother, Joe Sears (Lucille) of Jane Lew, WV; sister, Gladys Goodman of New York, son, Bill Walters (Debbie) of South Charleston WV; grandson, Noah Walters; daughter, Leah Harris (Vernon) of Dallas, TX; granddaughter, Nicole Harris of Arlington, TX; grandson, Jevon Harris Sr. (Amanda) of Dallas, TX; great-grandson, Jevon Harris Jr.; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the nurses and all of the staff at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Center for their excellent care. We want to thank everyone for your prayers, cards, calls, and visits. Mom got every message, and every card was read to her.

In keeping with Mable’s wishes she was cremated.
