My prayers are being sent to you all. I lived in Pratt and was good friends with Barbara for many years as we were in school at Pratt and East Bank. I will always remember her sweet smile and she was always so kind to everyone. I truly am sorry to read of her passing and just wanted to share how much I thought of her. Her family and my family were friends and growing up together in Pratt was the best experience ever. I am so sorry for passing and will always be grateful for the smiles and laughs we shared.

Garry and the girls: Barbara was one of the first nurses I encountered when I came to Braxton County in 1988. Initially when we both worked nights, she was the only RN in the hospital to cover med-surg and ER which she did quite aptly. She helped me "learn the ropes" as a new, young doctor for which I was very thankful. She was somewhat old school which was a good thing. Smart, compassionate, with good common sense. Very few like that anymore. There is nothing that I can say to easy your minds at this time of grief. I have fond memories of Barbara. Y'all have all yours as family members which will never leave you even though Barbara has crossed over to the other side. All of you are in my prayers.
